Service Description: Offers a new model of organizing and delivering health care for the people of Dryden, Sioux Lookout and Red Lake that better connects patients and providers in their communities to improve patient outcomes
  • Currently comprised of 30+ Indigenous, municipal and health care members and other collaborating organizations and individuals that represent health and social services across the Dryden, Sioux Lookout and Red Lake region
  • Health care providers (including hospitals, doctors, long-term care and retirement homes, acute care, mental health and addictions, children's services, home and community care providers, Indigenous care and digital health group) and social service providers work as one coordinated team
  • Kiiwetinoong Healing Waters OHT members collaborate with patients, clients, family members, caregivers, individuals with lived and living experience and other citizens to co-design the best possible care for the region
