Service Description:

The Sunset Country Family Health Team includes: Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Registered Practical Nurses, an Occupational Therapist, Dietitians, Pharmacist, Chiropodist, Social Worker, Consulting Psychiatrist and Administration. Family Health Teams allow physicians and other allied health providers to work as a team to focus on keeping patients healthy.
Provides a certified lactation consultant to assist new mothers with breastfeeding; areas of concern can include:- Baby is having trouble latching on
- Mother is experiencing pain with feedings or in breasts
- Baby is not gaining weight and seems unusually fussy
- Feeding times are either too long or too short
- Baby is having issues with urinating and/or bowel movements
