Not-for-profit provider of rehabilitation therapy and healthcare services for individuals with vision loss. Core services include:- Client navigation.
- Low vision services provide a functional assessment of visual abilities and instruction on how to maximize residual vision.
- Building essential everyday skills to maintain independence and confidence.
- Orientation and mobility instruction, focusing on how to move safely around the home, community, workplace, or school.
- Selection of appropriate low vision aids and assistive technology such as iPhones, tablets, computers, and specialty apps.
- Early intervention services to help families understand their child's vision or blindness and identify specialized services.
- Counselling and support to overcome the emotional and practical challenges of vision loss.
